Windows 10: How do I stop most annoying sound notifications in Windows 11

    How do I stop most annoying sound notifications in Windows 11


    I am using Window 11As far as I know I turned off all notifications, including system But I still get these annoying sounds which sounds like some sort of notification.The problem is that there is no associated flashing on the screen or taskbar.So I do not know who generates these notifications.Is there a way to track down the app that is generating these annoying noises ?

    Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

    Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

    Windows 11 annoying ctrl+f sound

    Hi everyone, I've recently upgraded to Windows 11. Whenever I do ctrl+f and fail to search something on the page, it would play this annoying sound. The sound wasn't as annoying in previous versions of windows, but the latest sound is too annoying. I've looked on some guides, and some people suggested turning off the Asterisk and Exclamation sounds, but that isn't working.

    Is there any way to turn off the sound? thanks!

    • In the App list, tap Settings > Notifications + actions, then tap an app from the list.

    • Tap Notification sound, and then do one of the following:
      • Tap Play to preview a sound, and then tap the name of the sound you want to use.
      • If you don’t want to hear a sound for a notification, tap None.
