Windows 10: how do i stop my c drive from constantly filling up

i seriously can't take it anymore i keep having to delete more photos and more games that have to be on the c drive because every time i free up space, it instantly gets filled again. i have no idea what to do, it's like i'll free up 2 more gb of space just for 3 days later, it to all be gone. i cant even use excel and word, stuff i need for school, because it just keeps on filling up. no matter how much i look in the storage, and on these posts, and on youtube videos, nothing seems to work, the 200 gb of space is always full and i don't know how to stop it. please help me out here.

How to stop C Drive fill up?

There is sadly no way to stop c drive from filling up. Temp files/prefetch files and your general app installation and running application files all go to C drive. Apart from that your windows installation files are stored in C drive before the installation and the left over files remain in C drive. So no you cannot simply keep the C drive from filling up what you can do is clear the temporary data from time to time.

 

How to stop C Drive fill up?

C Drive keeps filling up. At this point I don't care for the extra space I just want to stop it from filling up. Anyone actually have a fix instead of just how to free up space?
