Windows 10: How do i stop my computer from lagging and how do i stop getting that Microsoft family...

My computer starts lagging a lot at random times and at first it went away after a while, but it has gotten worse and i just restart my pc now but it only works for a few hours until it does it again. And i know it can't entirely be my internet's fault because my cursor lags too not just websites or videos. The pc is quite new and i have no idea what to do about it. And its really bad lag it looks like a slideshow and its starting to be very annoying. I'd also like to know how to stop getting that Microsoft defender family thing everytime i open my computer i don't really know what it is but i

I would suggest you check if the print spooler is running. Start/Stop print spooler service. Follow the steps below.

• 
  Press Windows key + R, type services.msc
  and press Enter.
  
• 
  From the list, locate Print Spooler service.
  
• 
  Double click on the service and select Stop.
  
• 
  Restart the computer, repeat step 1&2.
  
• 
  Double click on the service and check if the service is started.
