Windows 10: How do I stop my computer from randomly freezing or shutting off?

My computer randomly shuts off, not the shutdown screen, but as if it loses power and everything shuts down. Otherwise, it may freeze, and the audio stops here as well. It also doesn't seem to be an overheating problem, my fans aren't loud and my average temp is about 30-45 C on GPU and CPU. I have tried many things: Updated all drivers, freed up disk space, ran CMD prompts like SFC /scannow amongst other things, cleaning PC. And I just need this to stop.

I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin

Computer FREEZE at Desktop display

I have had similar experience. But mine is more random, and occurs when clicking the start menu. It will partially load then freeze the computer. The only way out is to hard shut down. THis happens randomly a number of times per day, and occassionally
immediately again upon reboot. I have since done a recovery to 8.1 and all is well now. THe suggested steps did no good. THere is a bug in Win10. Probably should stop with the workaround suggestions and try to find/fix the issue.
