Windows 10: How do I stop my laptop from freezing?

My laptop keeps freezingSo I just go a new gaming laptop and every time I play a game it randomly freezes for like 1 second then goes away for like 3-10 minutes then it comes back. overtime this keeps bugging me more and more I wonder if I should take it to a repair shop or it's a software issue that can easily be fixed. I've tired stuff like cleaning temp files and running sfc/scannow it said it found corrupt files but fixed them in command prompt but nothing works.

SSD stops and freezes laptop

Couple of updates:

1. I created a Linux boot USB key, and monitored my SSD under Linux, so this is evidently not a Windows issue, and
2. I loaded new firmware for the SSD, and my system seems to be functioning normally now. What a pleasure using a PC that doesn't consistently freeze up.

A failed update or one-time startup process can sometimes cause stopping, freezing, or reboot-loop issues during the login process. To isolate the issue, we suggest that you answer the following questions:

• Do you have a USB device attached? If yes, can you remove the device and log in again.
  
• Have you tried turning off the WiFi feature in your laptop before logging in?
  
• How about running a Startup Repair in your Windows 10 laptop? (Boot to Advanced Startup Options>Click on Troubleshoot> Click on Advanced options> Click on Startup Repair)
• Aside from the above steps, what other troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

laptop freezes up

hi, my laptop is freezing up on windows 10 and i am wondering if there is any steps to stop this from happening cause it's keeps freezing up every time i try to download something thanks for your time!!
