Windows 10: how do i stop my videos and game sound from coming through my mic?

This is for anyone who believes or knows that the headset they have is perfectly fine and that the reason sounds from games or other applications are being picked up by the mic is some other reason. I've been looking all over the internet for a way to fix this problem and I found a suggestion that said to change something in Realtek audio console/manager it didn't work btw but i kept messing around with the settings in there and I fixed it. The first picture is what the suggestion I found said to doif this fixes your problem great just stop here but if it doesn't then the second pic is what I did to fix it. note that all three options in the second pic were turned off, not sure if the first option needs to be turned on I did it anyway but the third setting I circled is what fixed it for me. Also this is only if u have Realtek as sound on your pc which u probably do since most pc's have this. I really wanted to upload this because I know how annoying this can be and I wanted to make the people a little less frustrated. if this works for you you're welcome. If it doesn't at least I tried. Another note, I don't use speakers on my pc only a headset so this is mostly directed towards headset users only.

Muted mic picking up sound in game

The issue could be because of the internal mic picking up sound even when the external device is pluuged in. If you have the RealTek HD Audi Manager installed on the machine, I would suggest you to try the steps listed below and check if it works for
you.

• Open RealTek HD Audio Manager and go to the
  Advanced tab.
  
• Check the boxes Separate all input jacks as independent input devices
  and Mute the internal output device, when external headphone is plugged in,
  and hit OK.
  
• Exit RealTek HD Audio Manager, restart the machine and see if the issue persists.

G433 Gaming Headset Mic is not working

I have no problem with the audio, only with the mic.

I don't have another headset to check with.

I am having this issue in all games and applications.
