    How do i stop Q taking screenshots on my PC?


    Every time I press Q on my keyboard it takes a screenshot I have only just noticed this as my disk space kept on getting shorter.I have tried to delete all drivers and restart my PC to install fresh generic drivers but it has not worked.I would send a video of this happening but it says not found.

    We understand your concern as the PC freeze when you try to take a screenshot using Win+Shift+S key.



    In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below.

    • What is the make and model of the PC?
    • What is the make and model of the Graphics card device installed?


    Meanwhile, we would suggest you to perform these steps and check.

    1. Press Windows key + X key, and select
      Device Manager.
    2. Scroll and expand Display adapters.
    3. Right click on the listed driver and click on
      Uninstall.
    4. Now check the box Delete the driver software for this device.
    5. Click on Uninstall.
    6. Restart the PC and install the latest driver from manufacturer website.


    Let us know how it goes.

    How can I take a screenshot of the Windows 10 Login Screen?

    I have read How can I take a screenshot of my logon screen in Windows 7?. Unfortunately, the posted answers reportedly only work for either Windows XP or 7.

    I've considered using VirtualBox or VMWare as suggested in How can I take screenshots of the PC before it boots up?, but this wont allow me to capture a computer-specific login issue*. The aforementioned question also specifically asked for solutions before the PC boots into Windows.

    *The "Shut Down" button disappeared from my desktop's login screen, but that's an issue for a future question.
