Windows 10: How do I stop showing my private photos I store in Onedrive in the photos widget in Windows 11?

Why show it in the first place without asking permission? This can cause damage to people when it appears like that in public without their awareness when they click on the widget icon. And what worse, there is no way to delete it from there it shows screenshots of videos, not even photos. signing out of onedrive doesn't remove anything. Uninstalling the widget is not even supported. Uninstalling photos doesn't do anything. Removing the widget only hides it but it will show again when I enable it back.

Photos Widget -Show Pics from iCloud Photos

Hi there. Is there any way to get the Windows 11 Photo Widget to show photos from my iCloud Photo Library. I'm using the latest version of Photos in Windows 11 and photos are appearing in the Photos App but not in the widget.

 

Store selected photos only on Onedrive

My new pc with Windows 11 is driving me nuts. I want to upload photos onto the PC but I do not want the photos to go onto Onedrive automatically as they take up too much room. I want to be able to choose which photos are stored in Onedrive with the rest only being stored on my PC. I have tried various methods suggested on internet but keep failing as OneDrive keeps overriding settings and doing its own thing.

 

Photos Widget Showing Pics NOT from Pictures folder

What are the Sources folders showing up in Photos app Settings? It should only have User Pictures folder by default, unless others were added.

Check for other Folders set in OneDrive Settings > Backup tab > Photos & Videos. But these should need to be set in Photos app or the widget before they display there.
