Windows 10: How do I stop system interrupts significantly delaying start up

I am running Windows 10 professional on a laptop.Usually when I stop work I select sleep and disconnect the power supply. The laptop is set to shut down if the lid is closed and there is no mains power. When I wish to use the machine again I reconnect the power, open the lid and press the on button before closing the lid and switching on the connected VDU.Usually the whole system opens smoothly and all I have to do is to log in however every few days the system gets "irrational" in that keys strokes are not executed immediately programmes are slow to start up or run and the mouse gets uncont

A deferred procedure call is an interrupt-handling mechanism in the Windows operating system where the drivers can reference when running certain processes. Deferred procedure call allows a task to be activated but not executed, from a highly prioritized
interrupt request level (IRQL).

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to put the computer in Safe mode and check if you receive this error.

Windows 10 ProfSvc delays boot significantly

I am running Windows 10 Pro x64 1909, my system is desktop i5-8500 3GHz 16GB RAM 120GB SSD + 3TB HDD for file storage.

For a long time, Windows used to display the login screen in about 20 seconds after powering on my system. However I have noticed in the last few months (even when I was running build 1903) this time period has increased significantly. My system now needs over 2 minutes to display login screen after power on. From the disk LED I see there's lots of disk activity during this period.

To find out what is causing this delay, I enabled detailed messages on startup through group policy. I eventually found that during the booting process, the ProfSvc was the cause for this delay. This screenshot shows the message, which is sitting there for about 1.5 minute with dots spinning and the disk working.

My PC is on my home network, no roaming profiles. It has 3 Microsoft user accounts (1 as administrator, 1 standard user and 1 child account) and one local admin account. If I log using the local admin account, the logon screen comes very fast in the next reboot. However if I log using my microsoft account again, the problem comes up again.

Have tried the following:

• Disabling IPv6
• Disabling all networks entirely
• Disabling network shares
• Setting static IP and DNS

Can anyone help?

Ok, let the powershell command run overnight
If the command didn't solve the problem, the try these steps in order:

1. Disable superfetch service
   • Empty the following folder c:\Windows\Prefetch\
   • Restart the computer
   • Si ça ne marche pas, passer à l'étape 2;
2. Disable the AppXSvc from the registry: change the "Start" key value from 3 to 4 (see the screenshot)
