Windows 10: How do I stop the messaging from creating a new group each time i reply to a message in...

How do I stop the messaging from creating a new group each time i reply to a message in Phone Link. It didn't do it before then Windows had updates and now it does it every message i send. If i don't delete the group message from my phone it adds the same 2 people to the group chat. The message i send is in the original chat then it disappears and creates a new group chat. Then if i send another message in the original chat it adds the same 2 people to the group chat again so now there are 4 people and so on. I ended up deleting it after myself and my chat buddy were in the group chat 7 times

group messaging replies

i have a nokia 925, on tmobile, have group message as MMS enabled, but am having trouble with group messaging threads.

if i start a group thread to several people, when they reply, my phone number gets added as another person. their reply becomes a separate thread, such that when i reply in that one, i get an extra message from myself.

anyone else experience this?

is this an iphone group messaging incompatible with WP8 thing?

  Did you make any changes to the pc prior to this issue?

  Is the issue specific to Windows Live Mail 2012?

  What is the error message you get when you say “cannot create any new messages or reply to messages”?
  

Suggest you to check if you are able to access the web mail using a browser to check if you are able to create new mails and also to reply to any mail.

Also suggest you to install any pending Windows updates on the pc to check if that helps.

Follow these steps to repair Windows Essentials to check if that helps:

  Press “Windows key + R” to get the run window.
