Windows 10: How do i stop the uncompact on my android tablet???

I uncompacted my android tablet a few days ago and I cant stop it. It says Select C:\360UnCompact\Uncompact.exe. help me how do i get my tablet off of this so i can use it??? Im in desperate need of help... This is what im seeing now

Wish I'd known this! I thought it was caused by my cat "helping" me drop my phone into my cereal bowl. (Reading a message on my phone and the dumb cat pushed against my hand for me to pet him. Plop goes the phone!) It didn't seem to have any issue for a
day or two, but then it started doing what was described above.

Anyway, since the phone was out of warranty, I used my insurance and was replaced with a Focus Flash. That actually works out pretty well in the end I guess though. (Playing musical upgrades with the teens in the family....which ends up with me getting one
of the pretty shiney Windows 8 Phones this fall!)

Awesome, This cleaning with pin solution works, I just tried this fix, and my phone is back to normal.

Now, what happened before I tried this fix.



I was on international trip, when I got into trouble, worked with ATT TS, although my phone was out of warranty but they still when out of the way to process this request on warranty and are in process of shipping a replacement to my friend's address
in USA (because warranty department doesn't ship international). My friend was going to ship this replacement phone to me internationally (I guess that won't be needed).

Looks like, new replacement phone is going to go back to ATT, I will continue to keep my old phone because it is functioning normally now.

But I really liked the awesome technical support and warranty processing request center, very helpful and very considerate.

You may wish to google resetting device. You likely already have tried powering down and on, a soft reset.

If it is stuck in a loop I would search google on how to do a "Factory or Hard Reset"

Caution.... this deletes all data. Pictures, contacts, texts, notes, installed games etc. There may be other cautionary notes with respect to your specific tablet. Hopefully you were backing device up to Google.

There are also some very good Android forums sites which may be better versed in the ways of Android. Good luck.

 

I have no clue what i have done but now my android tablet wont turn on. Lol... Uugghh... I have been messing with this thing for 2 weeks now all because windowd said i needed to update to windows 10 and ever since i tried to update my tablet has been unusable and i don't have money to go buy another one. I had everything important up there... All my business information and everything. But im the dummy who didnt backup any of my files... I dont know what to do...

 

I can only recommend Factory / Hard reset. Is it not complex but comes with a toll to your data. If you decide to do, and decision is ssoley yours, I would do it with the power cord in. Google your device, hard reset.

The procedure is there to use and most makers make this a robust feature. That said everything we do in life has risks. Good luck.

Is your tablet actually a Windows tablet rather than an Android one? "C:\Windows" looks like a Windows device to me. If you were asked to update Windows 10, that also means that it's a Windows device.

It appears that you have a third party file compression utility (Compact360) installed, and that you tried to decompress the files for some reason. That could take hours. Did you interrupt the process?

Can you tell us the make and model of the tablet? That may make it possible to help you.

 

Model /Modele: W 101 V2 and it has been running for a lil more than 2 weeks... I searched all over online and asking everyone i know and nothing worked... I was finally getting a lil progress when it shut off and wont come back on no matter what i do

 

When windows told me i needed to update i tried to and it kept telling me i had no memory or storage for it to finish so i figured i would delete some stuff i dont need or use... But i knew i had plenty of room but i was following directions. And Bam... Computer started to decompress. Stayed like that for a lil more than 2 weeks.. And tonight i was determined to figure out how to fix it because i had to get to my home buisness stuff amd well now i cant get to anything...

WytchyMom here is a link to your user manual assuming the full device name is RCA Cambio W101 V2. Looks like you have a reset button on the back of your tablet. There is a trouble shooting section and at the bottom of page 31 that mentions serious problem.

When you said you tried all that stuff, how long did you hold reset. On my router it requires 7-8 secs. Please ensure you have power in unit.

In most battery operated computing devices such as tablets and cell phones, not being able to get them to turn on with no other obvious reason for it is caused by the battery becoming excessively discharged. It can also be caused by a thermal protection shutdown. The solution usually involves physically disconnecting the battery which, unfortunately, sometimes requires the device to be disassembled to do so. But there are other things you can try to get it to power on if the reset button will not do it.

Just hold down the power button for an incredibly long time. Like 2 minutes, and actually time it.
Try holding different combinations of buttons like volume down + power button. Up + power button. Up + Down + power button. All the combinations you can try.
With the charger disconnected, hold down the power button and then plug the charger in while keeping the power button held down.

If you do manage to get it powered on, you are probably going to have to boot it from a recovery USB flash drive, copy your data off it and re-install Windows. A good recovery drive image is right here on this forum:

Read my quote in the middle of the OP of that thread about making a combination Windows 10 installation and Kyhi's recovery tools flash drive. I have created a combination Windows 10 installation and Kyhi recovery drive on one of these:

I can use the micro USB side to boot my Nextbook Windows tablet with, and can use the standard USB side to boot my desktops/laptops from.

 

Sorry to give a false impression, but I have no real-world experience with this sort of device.

Unfortunately, I see no mention of a means of forcing a boot from an external device (usually a USB flash drive) when the tablet can't boot from its internal drive. I hope that it will do that automatically if such a drive is present.

In this tablet, the hard drive is a 32GB eMMC flash drive. I believe that eMMC drives are usually soldered to the motherboard. That means that it wouldn't be practical to remove the drive from the tablet and copy the data using an external drive dock.

I hope that the OP manages to copy off her data before doing much more with the tablet.
