Windows 10: How do I stop win11 Snip from adding snips to a slideshow by default.

I attached one snip to an e-mail & it sent an entire slideshow. I need to save snips as independent, standalone pics but they are added to a slideshow automatically. How is that changed

How do I stop win11 Snip from adding snips to a slideshow by default.

I saved snips to my desktop & then attached one snip to an e-mail, an entire slideshow was mailed instead of the one snip attached. I need to save snips as independent, standalone pics but they are added to a slideshow automatically. How is that changed

Snip & Sketch - saving to Desktop sometimes works and sometimes does Not work (Win11)

On Win11 Snip & Sketch sometimes copies from the clipboard to the desktop and sometimes does Not

copy to the Desktop. The failed copies are listed in the recent action list, but when accessed Win11 gives

the error that "file has been moved"....

So I went into Settings to check that "Autocopy to Clipboard" was On

I noticed that there was also a setting for "Save Snips" which gives a confirmation

box when doing a save - so I set this to On

Somehow confirming the save seems to have fixed the problem, adding a step is a drag, but

at least now snip & sketch has been working every time

Please try this:

Step 1:

Click Start, and type Snipping Tool.

Right-click Snipping Tool from the search results, and click App Settings

Click Reset,

Click Repair.

Note: In Windows 11, there is no Snip and Sketch. It comes pre-installed with the new Snipping Tool (which replaces the old Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps)

Step 2:

Turn off Focus assist if it's enabled

Step 3:

Open Services.msc and make sure that the following services are set to "Automatic" and running:

• Windows Push Notifications System Service
  
• Windows Push Notifications User Service
