    How do I stop window notifications while I'm presenting?


    Does anyone know why there doesn't seem to be a do not disturb button/snooze button feature within Windows notifications?

    I mean when people are presenting to a room full of people and they do not want any embarrassing notifications pop up, how does one prevent these without having to go into windows settings to switch them off or even better snooze them for a period of time?

    There just seems to be 4 buttons at the bottom of notifications one of which is for tablet mode, which I never use.

    Is there a way to customise these buttons to for example allow to switch off and snooze notifications for an amount of time?

    Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

    Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

    Stop action center notifications in Windows 10

    • Do you want to stop notifications only from Defender or stop all action center notifications?
    To stop action center notifications, I suggest you to follow the steps given below:


    • Type settings in search bar and hit
      enter.

    • Go to system.

    • Select notifications and actions.

    • Click on turn system icons on or off.

    • Turn off action center.

    1. Are you referring to Mail app notification?
    2. Since when are you facing this issue?
    3. Which version of Windows are you currently using?

    If you are referring to notifications in the action center, then I suggest you to click on the notification from the action center and check if the notifications are still present there.
