Windows 10: How do I stop Windows 11 opening my apps and web pages on my second monitor?

HiI have a second monitor set up to view images when I am editing with Photoshop on my main monitor. I recently upgraded my PC and it came with Windows 11 pro on it, and now my apps / web pages often open on my second monitor, which means if I am not editing I have to turn it on and drag the app / web page onto my main display. This was not a problem I had with my previous PC! I have seen this has been a problem before and I have followed all the steps and suggestions made previously! I find it mildly irritating and very tiresome, so would really appreciate it if someone can come up with a sol

Opening web pages in Windows 10

Which web browser are you using?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps

• Open the Web page.
• Click on Gear icon at the top right corner.
• Click on File and select Save as
• You can save in different format.
• Open file Explorer select and right click on web page which is saved in File Explorer.
  
• Select open with and Select WordPad or notepad.
• There you will be able to Edit .

Windows 11 cannot detect my second monitor. Help. I did all the suggested troubleshooting steps but nothing seems to work.

 

Windows 10 Pro Insider preview - web pages wont load


Hi all,

Starting on Win 10 Insider preview build 14936, some web pages stopped opening. For example gmail web page, Facebook etc. It seems there is something, that prevents it to be fully downloaded and viewed.

I experience this behaviour in all standard web browsers. Firefox (49.0.2), IE 11, Chrome and also Edge.

Any suggestions will be high appreciated *Smile.
