Windows 10: How do I stop Windows 11 Updates from constantly changing my Personalized Settings?

Every time Windows 11 provides an update mine currently set to Automatically perform updates, it changes my Personalized Settings? How can I stop this from happening?Why is Microsoft NOT returning/saving my Personalized settings?If the only answer is to NOT update the OS, then I am afraid I need to look harder into moving to another Operating System.Thanks in advance to any suggestions.

Folder View settings constantly changing

Is there any way to stop Windows 10 from constantly changing my folder view settings. throughout the day I am constantly moving between different folders for work and am constantly changing the view settings. I like the detail view, apparently Microsoft
does not and keeps changing to list, Large Icons, etc., etc.

We suggest that you follow the steps below to put your settings back to default and see if it helps.

• Right-click your mouse on your desktop.
• Click on Personalize.
• Select Colors.
• Click on High contrast settings.
• From the drop-down menu, select None.
• Click Apply.
• Reboot the PC for the changes to take effect.

Personalization Settings constantly resetting

I'm having an issue where my background personalization settings are constantly reverting to "Picture" from "Slideshow". This happens mostly when I enter full-screen mode from a game, then exit the game. I can reset my personalization settings fine,
but the next time I exit full-screen mode, my settings have changed back to "Picture" again.

All drivers are updated, all Windows updates are installed. No device/software conflicts anywhere. This only started within the last few days, and I made no system changes prior to this happening.

Any direction as to where I can fix this?
