Windows 10: How do I STOP Windows changing directory names on MY data drive?

Every time stupid Windows does another unnecessary update have you noticed any improvements after an update?, it changes directory names on my P: drive. This is a stand alone physical hard drive with only MY data on it. The programmes and operating system reside on the C: drive. How can I block this invasive operating system from my personal data?

We appreciate you getting back to us. To change the cmd name, we suggest that you follow this steps:

• Open a Command Prompt (Adimin) window: Win+X, A, Alt+Y
• Then run the following command to change your computer name to Donner: WMIC ComputerSystem where Name=COMPUTER-NAME call Rename Name=NewName
• Reboot your PC.
• Try to run ipconfig / all command, you should find that the Host Name in Windows IP Configuration list has been changed to the new name.

How do I stop Windows 10 from changing my directory view settings?

Name. Date Modified. Type. Size.

Those are how I need to view any directory on my machine. Every directory.

Every every every every #@$*ing time. No exceptions.

I'm an animator, so I deal with a wide variety of media and file formats. Unfortunately, if a directory containing hundreds of data files has just one single WAV in there, Windows 10 will list them by name, track number, contributing artist, and album --
now I can't sort and organize my files. Then there are the image files that keep getting sorted as thumbnails; I can see how that's handy for some, but I *need* to see the list of specs. Yes I keep changing my directories to sort correctly, but Windows 10
keeps changing it back. I'm happy for you if this is what you want, but in my case this "feature" (changing how I view my data based on someone else's priorities) is nothing more than sand in the crankcase. It *only* causes harm on my machines.

So, how do I permanently stop Windows 10 from changing the one single forever constant of: Name, Date Modified, Type, and Size?
