    How do I stop Windows form keep prompting me to do a disk check everytime I am on the boot...


    I have installed Linux and I am dualbooting and everytime Windows tries to boot it wants to do a disk check. How do I get it to stop prompting me this?

    how do I kill the check disk utility

    if chkdsk keeps running on boot, that means that there might be some damaged or corrupted files. in the run box type cmd and from there type chkdsk /F /I and hopefully it wont run next time. if it does, whatever was hanging it, should've been fixed when you did it through the command prompt, and it'll check your disk and then shut off.. so that next time it wont start up. of course, you are doing a proper shutdown and not just killing your power or hitting the psu switch to turn off your system right?

    How do I remove the Linux Boot Loader?

    You don't actually uninstall a boot loader but replace it with another.

    You cannot get Ubuntu to start on a Windows' boot loader, it needs to be GRUB (or an open source equivalent).

    Any ways, to get the Windows' boot loader back up, you need to insert your WIN7 installer disk and select the repair option>startup repair. I am assuming the WIN7 will use a similar setup menu as VISTA.

    After that, just format the partition/disk that ubuntu is on...
