    Hi all,
    Thanks for the replies. Sorry, should have defined the type of phone I am using. It's Samsung A51 running Android 11. I've had it since May and the last time I connected it to my pc was sometime in July I think. It was fine then. Also, I think it might be my pc hardware. I have been experiencing a few glitches when plugging USB items in from time to time. I will try Navy LCdr suggestion about phone explorer and see what happens. I know my phone is connected to the pc, device manager lists it in the USB devices when it's plugged in and it states that it is working correctly. Barring an actual hardware issue I think this is probably some update that I wasn't aware of or something. I will post back with results. Thanks again.
