Windows 10: How do I test the health of my computer? Weird "attempting repairs" loop resolved itself,...

Randomly my computer shut off and while I was going to restart it, it said I needed to repair the computer. It got stuck in a 30 minute "attempting repairs" loop so, what I exactly did was, plug in my USB bootable media to prepare to try and boot to a repair tool, manually shut the computer off, turned it back on -- and it booted normally to my login screen.

What is the best way to test the components of my computer to make sure everything is functioning?

my laptop is in attempting to repair loop and i cant restore it or anything just constant cant repair. Can i create a repair boot usb on another computer to use on my laptop ?
