Windows 10: How do I toggle between my touch screen keyboard and my physical one?

I feel like I have been trying for hours and always delays me on my work!I have a Lenovo Ideapad 5 flexi windows 11. Sometimes on it's own free will it will change onto the on screen keyboard and my physical one will not work at all unless I reset my laptop.I have tried googling and looking for a solution but I cannot find one anywhere.Please help

Toggle touch keyboard visibility

In 8/8.1 I was able to toggle a touch keyboard in the charms menu or from the toolbar for desktop apps. In Windows 10 I haven't been able to find a way to make a touch keyboard to appear for legacy apps. I tried turning on the language bar and the like
to no avail. The biggest problem for me is I use some terminal/shell clients and have no way to type in the Window without dragging around a physical keyboard.

 

Touch screens

I can do 60 words per minute on my phone, perhaps more now as I've got used to the phone. ( htc desire z, using the stock onscreen keyboard)

Touch screen + predictive text I recon I could equal my keyboard typing speed. Maybe beat it depending on how advance the predictions are.

( hard to use predictive software on traditional keyboards as there is no way to quickly choose the suggested word, where as touch screen keyboards can have the suggested words appear above the function keys)

 

Laptop Keyboard keys not working -- not a hardware issue.

Change the Keyboard Settings - Follow these steps:

1. Right-click on the Windows Start button and open the Settings app.
   
2. Select the Accessibility tab from the left sidebar.
   
3. Click on Keyboard on the right side of the screen.
   
4. Disable the toggles next to Sticky keys, Filter keys, and Toggle keys.
   
5. Disable the toggle next to Underline access keys.
   
6. Then, go to Typing under Related settings.
   
7. Turn off the toggles next to Show text suggestions when typing on the physical keyboard and Multilingual text suggestions.
   
8. After that, click on Advanced keyboard settings and make sure the correct language option is selected.
