Windows 10: How do I transfer a specific program, e.g., Brave Browser's user profiles, settings, and...

Hi, I'm using windows 10 and want to transfer my web browser - Brave's data to my another computer and I want to keep them same to same. I've 5 profiles of brave in this computer. I want to transfer cookies too, thus I do not have to login sites that were in my old computer.How I can do that, can you please give me some suggestion.

Brave browser move profile location

C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data Copy this folder. Reinstall Brave in the drive you want it to be. Paste the folder "User Data" back into the new Brave location. (Your user profile in Brave stores data about your browsing activity, including your history, bookmarks and cookies.) This will overwrite the existing profile. And if everything working ok, just delete the previous version. Alternative: Install Brave Beta instead on the new location if you are afraid of loosing data. Paste "User Data" into it. In that way you have two different Brave, ordinary Brave and also Brave Beta, just for insurance. If everything is working perfect with Brave Beta you could delete the ordinary Brave. The terrible MKLINK stuff is impossible to understand.

With supposedly a successful result

But it does not change the location. All it does is create a fresh profile in the original location, with all data lost, of course, if I don't back it up first. Am I doing something wrong, or is it just not possible?

• Does this issue happens while you try to set other browser as default too or is it specific to specific browser?

Any browser.

Already did the steps you suggested. It's some kind of bug where it's impossible to set a default browser at all.

I heard elsewhere from one other user that it seems to be a problem with upgrading to 10 on the SP3. Sounds very specifc.
