Windows 10: How do I transfer and manage data from HDD to SSD?

So, I have two drivers one which is my SSD with 237 GB & HDD with 931 GB. I want to free up space on my SSD and only let it run the operating system and specific games while anything rest like minor apps and photos/documents on the HDD. But I don't know how to do this. Transfer installed programs and data from HDD to SSd

I have HDD and SSD on my computer both have individual windows 10 OS. I can not run Windows from HDD only from SSD. Now i want to transfer all programs and data from HDD to SSD.

Im about to buy 1TB SSD and want to transfer everything to it from my HDD. My question is, is it possible? I dont want to lose data,or licence key of Windows.

Data transfer

How can I transfer data (no programs or windows just setups and games)from one HDD to another please tell me all the steps, I have heard that in 2 sata if there is a window installed in both of them it could cause a problem. So, here is what I'm going to do so correct me if I'm wrong. both of them Are SATA WD

1 using XP CD going to delete the C partition in old HDD
2 taking the HDD out
4 partition the new HDD in new PC by using XP CD
5 install Win 7
6 connect the old HDD with SATA data and power cable
7 check if it is detected in bios
8 disk management initialize disk(i don't know if this is necessary)
9 copy paste
