Windows 10: How do I transfer music from my MP3 player to my Windows Media on Windows 10

I have tried to transfer my music from my MP3 player to the Windows Media on my Windows 10 computer. My last computer died and I could not retrieve the music. All my music is on my MP3 player but when I plug the MP3 player into the computer, there is no option for me to select all and paste into a Music folder. Folders are showing up on the computer but when I click on them it says the folder is EMPTY.


Can someone please explain the exact steps to take to transfer MP3 music to a Windows 10 computer? I will appreciate all feedback.

Faulty Windows Media Player

Windows Mesdis Player developed a fault (Played jerky an missed bits) so I down loaded Media Player 10.

It's no better. Any suggestions (I run Windows 98)
