    How do I transfer my data and programs from old computer to new computer using Windows 10 O/S?


    I have a new HP Spectre X360 laptop and want to transfer the data, programs, files and folders, including pictures, video, etc., from my older Sony VAIO laptop. Both computers have Windows 10 O/S.


    Is there a simple way to do it all quickly or do I have to rely on transferring stuff via USB drives or external hard drive and then transferring that copied data from the external HD to the new computer?

    programs and files missing after data transfer to new computer. not listed in apps nor thru search. Have used win defender. Is the program somewhere?

    data transfer from old windows 10 computer to new windows 10 computer

    I just received my new windows 10 computer and would like to transfer data from my old windows 10 computer. What is the proper method? Need a new program? Cables?

    I will have to find parts and pieces (monitor, mouse, keyboard) to use the old computer, but that's not to big of a deal.

    Thank you for any assistance.
