I have a Lenovo Yoga 7 Laptop. The integrated camera worked in zoom but stopped ages ago. The camera app says I have an 0xA00F4250 PhotoCaptureStartFailed error.

your post regarding 'My integrated camera just stopped working on Lenovo Yoga C940' was informative but did not solve the problem. .my Privacy & Security > Camera setting is toggled on and access is granted to M365 & Zoom. Still getting a black screen. Any other suggestions. I should have gone to the Lenovo Service center while my laptop was under warranty (even thought I had extended my warranty for 3 yrs, before expiration, because of this but Lenovo substituted Smart Performance instead of extending the warranty. Any more suggestions?

Integrated camera/webcam

I tried updating, uninstalling drivers in device manager. I updated Windows. I downloaded the driver listed in Lenovo for my laptop. The integrated camera is still not working. I made sure that the anti-virus is not blocking it - it only blocks chrome (why
would chrome want to access my camera?)

I understand that you have issue with your integrated laptop camera in greyscale. Might I suggest that you check this link, it is having a different issue with yours but the procedure to fix is just the same. I suggest you follow the steps listed.

Also if this is the first time that you are using the webcam, can you check maybe there is a sticker/plastic in front of the camera.
