Windows 10: How do I turn down the volume of specific apps on Windows 11?

Hi there. Running the most recent version of Windows 11, and there is no option in Volume Mixer to turn down the sound of a specific app. How do I do it?

As the game is downloaded from Windows Store, I suggest you to run the Windows Store, I suggest you run the Windows Apps troubleshooter by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Type “Troubleshooting” in the search box and press Enter.

Disappearing volume control icon on taskbar

Method 1: I recommend you to try to turn on the system icon for volume by following below steps.

1. Click on Search bar.

2. Type "Turn system icons on and off" without the quotes and click on it.

3. Turn off and then try to turn on the volume icon
from the list.

Method 2: Try to update the audio driver in the Device Manager and check if it helps.

1. Press Windows Key + R Key.

2. Then type “devmgmt.msc” without the quotes and hit on Enter Key.

3. Expand Audio inputs and outputs.

4. Right click on the driver and click on Update Driver Software.
