Windows 10: How do I turn Microsoft Hello PIN sign-in off?

I accidentally enabled this terrible feature that requires me to enter a separate PIN prior to entering my password for websites on Chrome. I believe it's called Windows Hello. I'm trying to turn it off. However, whenever I go to where I should be able to disable it Accounts > Sign-In Options, under "Ways to sign in," the option "PIN Windows Hello" says that it is currently unavailable. This isn't true, as it my system won't let me sign in to any accounts without inputting the PIN. But for whatever reason, the system also won't let me turn off the PIN. When I try, it prompts me to sign

Remove sign in pin

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the sign in pin/password options.

• In the search box type sign-in-option.
• Click on the sign-in-option.
• Then you can find password/pin/picture password.
• There you can remove the option and check.

How do I turn off Windows Hello (PIN) sign in?

Hi,

I turned on by accident and set a PIN. I think it's when I added an business email and by accident allowed the business to manage my PC. Now, I'd want to switch back to password and remove the PIN sign-in option. However, the "Remove" button is greyed out.

How can I remove it?

To fix the remove PIN button greyed out on Windows 11, use these steps:

Open Settings.

Click on Accounts.

Click the Sign-option tab.

Under the “Additional settings” section, turn off the “For improved security, only allow Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft account on this device” toggle switch.

But I don't find such setting under Additional settings.

What can I do?
