Windows 10: How do I turn off and delete a backup?

I want to turn of this backup permanantly and remove this notification. How can i remove it

To delete a backup

Click on Start -------> Settings ------> Update & Security -----> Backup --------> Backup and Restore --------> Manage Space.

from here you can select any backups that are listed and delete them.

To turn off the Windows backup feature

search for control panel in the windows search bar and click on the control panel app. Choose system and security, then choose backup your computer. You should now see a link to turn off the backup schedule.

• Are your backing up files or creating a system image?
  
• Are you getting any error messages?

Permanently Disable File History Backup

I suggest you to follow the below steps to turn off the back up and check if it helps.

• Press windows+X and click on control panel.
• Then click on “backup and restore option”.
• Then click on the option “turn on schedule”.
• Then on the left hand side you will get the option ”Turn off schedule”.
