Windows 10: How do I turn off double-sided printing in printer preferences?

Hi, I am unable to find where I can turn off double-sided printing in printer properties. I can see in printer properties it says "Double-sided: Yes". But, there is no option to turn it off. In printer preferences, I have it set to single sided. However, I have some programs i.e., Adobe Reader which are defaulting to the printer properties settings. Any help is greatly appreciated. I am using Windows 11 on a Dell Optiplex. The printer is a Brother MFC-J4440DW. I have all the latest drivers, updates and firmware installed.

Printing Double-Sided Documents

In the More menu (three dots) select open in Internet Explorer. Ctrl + P then opens the original Print settings Dialogue.

In Devices and Printers rt click the Printer > Printing preferences > Advanced. Check for Double sided enabled in the Printer properties. If Windows does not know the printer does double sided it will not offer the function.

It depends on whether your printer supports double sided printing, choose to print your document, then chose Printer Properties, check on the different tabs on the resulting dialog for Duplex Printing, or double sided printing, if you do not find that, then
your printer may not support double sided printing

What is the Make and exact Model No. of your printer I will check if your printer supports double sided printing for you . . .

I know how to print duplex (double sided) but since I've been using windows 10 I cannot print double sided. My printer is capable of printing duplex but it is not even an option on my printer preferences. I read somewhere to uninstall the printer and reinstall
it. That did not work. Please help!!
