    How do I turn off Storage Sense permanently?


    I woke up my PC and received a message from Windows 10 that "We have turned on Storage Sense for you". The service deleted my files.


    How do I turn off Storage Sense permanently? It was already turned off in Settings > System > Storage, but it turned itself back on and deleted files. How do I kill it so it doesn't come back?


    Any assistance is appreciated.

    I am happy you made this, it has been on my ToDo list for ages but the real life has been messing with my plans preventing any time consuming hobbies like video making How do I turn off Storage Sense permanently? :)

    Storage Sense Not Working Correctly


    Hi there,
    I'm having an issue with the Storage Sense feature and can't seem to figure out what might be causing it.
    I've prepared a .GIF image, showing what I encounter when I go to, Settings> System> Storage.

    How do I turn off Storage Sense permanently? [​IMG]

    If you were able to view the image above.
    As you can see, there are no drives showing and I also can't turn this feature on.
    I did have it enabled prior to the most recent windows update.

    I can't remember the last time I used this feature.
    However, it was working in the past, but now it doesn't seem to function like it use to.*cry

    Any suggestions on what might be causing this and or how I might go about correcting this issue,
    would be greatly appreciated.

    I was just wondering about storage sense. Me and my mum have the same phone HTC 8S but she has storage sense and I don't, I had the same problem with data sense, eventually that did appear. From this I know that I can get storage sense, so don't anyone tell
    me that I can't get it because I have been told that I should have it.

    I was just wondering if storage sense was only available on windows 8.1 or available also on windows 8?
