Windows 10: How do I turn off the family time notification settings for my son's child account?

My son's child account is set up so that he has screen time limits and time restricted access to the online games that he plays. He plays games on his PC. In the final hour of his allotted time schedule he receives a number of pop-up notification windows on his PC telling him that time is running out with options to request more time, etc...These notifications cause his gaming sessions to freeze which frustrates him and makes his PC Gaming experience poor. He's accepted the time restrictions but is angry that his last hour of gaming is ruined by these notifications.Please

These notifications cause his gaming sessions to freeze which often or not result in family conflict. He's accepted the time restrictions but is angry that his last hour of gaming is ruined by these notifications.

Please can someone advise on how to turn off these notifications that he receives without compromising his screen time and App/Game limits?

Family Safety not working on my son's account

I have checked, rechecked, reset, turned off, turned on the settings and set up the family multiple times before I even asked my question. I removed my son's account and added it again, and it did nothing.

 

Windows 10 Screen Time setting not working for my child

I had this exact problem and these are the steps I took to get the issue resolved:

• Navigate to family safety settings and remove the child from the family having issues.
• Login to the childs account and launch Settings (windows key + i)
• Click the Accounts icon and select Sign in with local account instead
• Follow the steps to change to a local account. When completed, Login back to your account (admin account)
• Go back to the family safety settings and add your child back to the family group.
• Access your childs email address to accept the family invitation
• Verify the child now shows properly in the family settings and that the screen times are still correct.
• Login to the childs account and launch Settings (windows key + i)
• Click the Accounts icon and select Sign in with microsoft account instead
• Your family settings should now take affect.

I know this is pretty tedious, but like I said, it worked for me. If you are still having trouble, I suggest contacting support and they can help walk you through the steps to get it resolved.
