Windows 10: How do I turn-off this sound-effect?

I use the accessibility-function of the Number-Pad that allows it to be used as mouse-buttons: "5" for click, "+" for double-click, etc. . In the Blender app I have to toggle that function a lot using the "Num Lock" key, as in Blender the Number-Pad has the function of changing the camera's point-of-view. When toggling that function the OS plays an annoying 'beep' sound-effect that I'd like to turn-off. I couldn't find the sound-effect in question when searching through "[...]\Control Panel\Sound\Sounds\Program Events:\".

No Sound!!

I am having issues with sound on my mom's Acer desktop PC. I have troubleshooted the sound, and did as it suggested to do by turning off the sound effects. It's an Acer Aspire XC-603G that is listed in my specs. Where can I find an updated driver for it for this computer? It uses Realtek High Definition Audio.

 

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Minimize sound effect not working

It would be grateful if you can reply to this question in order to assist you further:

• Did you installed any Windows Theme?
• Did you make changes to audio wav files for default sound scheme?
• Did you try assigning different wav audio to minimize?

Meanwhile we suggest you to go Control Panel > Classic items view > Sound > sounds Tab > Sound Schemes > revert to default and check if it helps.
