    I'm trying to undo a recent change I agreed to try.I'm unable to find ANY information on how to do it.I agreed to try Windows Hello PIN to sign into websites I visit instead of using the passwords I had already set up for those sites. I still want to use my Windows Hello PIN to sign into my laptop and verify it's me when I need to look up a saved password, just like before. Now I am unable to sign into websites that I have 2-factor verification turned on that require a code from an authenticator. Windows thinks I'm trying to sign-in to the website and is requiring me to put my Windows Hello PI

    How do I undo the recent change to use my Windows Hello PIN instead of using website passwords but still keep using Hello PIN for device sign-in?!

    I'm trying to undo a recent change I agreed to try.

    I'm unable to find ANY information on how to do it.

    I agreed to try Windows Hello PIN to sign into websites I visit instead of using the passwords I had already set up for those sites.

    I still want to use my Windows Hello PIN to sign into my laptop and verify it's me when I need to look up a saved password, just like before.

    Now I am unable to sign into websites that I have 2-factor verification turned on that require a code from an authenticator.

    Windows thinks I'm trying to sign-in to the website and is requiring me to put my Windows Hello PIN, but is not allowing me to input the authentication code.

    I want to go back to the way it was before, using Windows Hello PIN to sign into my laptop and verify it's me for passwords, and having to use the already set up passwords and 2-step verification for all websites I visit, instead of my Windows Hello PIN.

    PLEASE HELP!

    I'm using Google Chrome.

    Hello ! I'm Aymeric, and I'm here to help !

    Open Google Chrome and, in the address bar, type " chrome://password-manager/settings " . (you can copy and paste the link !)

    Here, you will have an option called "Use Windows Hello when filling passwords"

    Disable it : you will be asked one last time your PIN code. After this step, you will no longer be asked your PIN when logging into websites. But, you'll still be asked your Windows Hello PIN to log into your laptop.

    In the meantime, we suggest that you follow the steps below on how to set up PIN.

    • Open Settings.
    • Select Accounts.
    • Click Sign-in options.
    • Click the Add button for the PIN and set your PIN.
    • Do the same for the Windows Hello.
