  1. How do I ungroup in the task bar but KEEP single icons and hide labels?

I'm not sure if I have worded my question very well so please bare with me.Basically, see the attached picture/screenshot, all I want to do is get rid of that "group". I want everything else to stay the same. Whenever I have 2 or more of the same "app" open then it automatically creates a group, which is pointless because 1 I don't want them grouped and 2 I can still see them individually when I hover so what is the point? For example / context; I like being able to just hover over the Word icon and then selecting the thumbnail of whatever document I want. which is what I have always been ab

Option to UNGROUP the buttons, but HIDE the labels in the taskbar

Hello everyone! So far, we don't have an option in the Windows 11 taskbar settings to UNGROUP the buttons, but HIDE the labels in the taskbar, only to ungroup AND show labels. I don't understand why Microsoft does this kind of thing. First, they remove something important, then they add only half an option. Combining buttons is TERRIBLE, and displaying these giant labels filling the taskbar is also terrible. Why can't we have the best of both worlds? I wonder if anyone knows of any way to do this. I tried changing the 'TaskbarShowLabels' registry value to 0, but it seems like it doesn't work anymore. Thanks!
