Windows 10: How do I ungroup my tasks on the task bar? Was this feature removed? Who ok'd that...

My windows experience and the ways in which I use my computer means I need to swap between different tabs of the same program frequently, and up to 5 windows of that program. Right now, on windows 10, this is fine. no problems, it is clear, concise, clean, and easy. Windows 11 is driving me absolutely BONKERS with the stacked windows. I occasionally attempt to scroll over the stack while I have 1 window open and it simply will not bring up the previews, so I can not select the client that I would like to open. This means I have to click on the task bar, then hover over the tabs, and only then

Hi, I would like to ask how to ungroup open windows/app in task bar? It's much better to just click open window/apps in task bar than to hover and click.

 

Unable to hide Task bar

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

a. Right click on the Task bar.

b. Click on Properties.

c. Put a check mark next to ‘Auto-hide’ the task bar.

d. Click on Apply and OK.

If the issue persists try the below steps to restart the Windows Explorer and check if that helps.

Step 1: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys to open Task Manager

Step 2: Click on
More details.

Step 3: Under the Processes tab, right-click on Windows Explorer entry and then click Restart.

Task bar keeps moving

The issue might have been caused if the ‘Auto-hide’ task bar option got checked. So, I would suggest you to try the following steps to disable auto hide task bar.

a. Right click on the Task bar.

b. Click on Properties.

c. Put a uncheck mark next to ‘Auto-hide’ the task bar.

d. Click on Apply and OK.

Also check the option “task bar location on the screen” need to select “bottom”.
