Windows 10: How do I uninstall Google Chat?

One of my Granddaughters called me on Chat one day. Little old Luddite me had never used this newfangled thing but I looked it up with Uncle Google and got it running. Emily and I had a nice wee chat. She was using her mother's PC when she did that but she can't chat on her Primary School iPad or whatever so she doesn't chat anymore. Chat is just taking up space in my sidebar.How do I get rid of it?Thanks

problem uninstalling google chrome

Hi,

Since you already uninstalled Google Chrome using the Programs and Features, Google notifications may still be running in the background processes. We suggest that you follow these steps on how to end the Google Chrome process:

• On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
• Select Task Manager.
• Under Processes, locate Google Notifications or Google Chrome.
• Right click on them and select End Task.
• Double check under Programs and Features if Google Chrome is completely gone.

Let us know if these steps worked.

 

whatsapp...google chat...or some other chat software??

When is the chat program whatsapp gonna be available? or another similar one where we can use it to chat with other smart phone users? or google chat??!!

maybe go into google chat on your pc and block everyone on your list ?
