    How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

    I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

    Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

    Any suggestions? *Confused how do i uninstall oem131.inf? :confused:

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    Click your Start Button, then jst type powershell and from the resulting list, right click PowerShell and select 'Run as Administrator'

    Run this command and press Enter

    pnputil /delete-driver oem117.inf /uninstall /force

    Run this command and press Enter

    pnputil /delete-driver oem23inf /uninstall /force

    Run this command and press Enter

    pnputil /delete-driver oem62.inf /uninstall /force

    Run this command and press Enter

    pnputil /delete-driver oem131.inf /uninstall /force

    Run this command and press Enter

    pnputil /delete-driver oem22.inf /uninstall /force

    Run this command and press Enter

    pnputil /delete-driver oem30.inf /uninstall /force

    Close PowerShell and restart (not shut down) your PC

    Touchpad (or mouse) INF file

    Hi Dave,

    I could find "msmouse.inf" under the Events tab in the past and actually inserted this INF file. But, it doesn't load the touchpad driver. It seems to load "mouhid.sys" but for some reason, it doesn't show a mouse pointer on WinPE. Thanks for your suggestion though.
