Windows 10: How do I unlink my Microsoft Account from my computer?

Hello, I am trying to unlink my Microsoft account from my computer because i want to sign in with a local account. Is there anyway I could do this because the 2 ways I have tried have not work. I have tried the way with the button that says 'Sign in with a local account instead' but the button is not there for me and I have tried the way to unlink the Microsoft account but the remove button is also not there. please help me.

So I accidentally signed in to my Microsoft account on a computer and it got linked to the local account I was on.

How do I unlink my Microsoft account while keeping the local account intact?

The computer is using Windows 10, and I don’t think there are backups. I need all current files to stay.
