Windows 10: How do I update Windows 10 Pro from v.2004 to v.21H2?

Windows Update does not update my Windows 10 Pro v.2004 laptop.After ""Check for Updates", although it reports that an update is needed, it shows no "Install" button to do so.See screenshot 1, below.So I tried to use Windows Setup to update. - I downloaded via button "Download Tool Now" on page Microsoft Download Windows 10. - I disabled all laptop Startup items and rebooted. - I ran Windows 10 Setup v.21H2 to install into my existing Windows 10 v.2004 installation. - Setup downloaded and prepared. - Setup reported "This PC can't run Windows 10" and "You can't install on a USB flash drive usi

Thank you for your reply.

• I could not find the *dump files, I don't think I enable it,
• I will work on the MSinfo file and the Specc files when I have more time in hand.

Questions:-

• you're suggesting that I should install the V.2004 and let it crash (if it'll crash)?
• since there is no .dump file exist (or I couldn't find one), the troubleshooting still good just using the MSinfo and the Specc files that reflects my current system state (V.1909)?

WIN 10 upgrade from V 1903 to V 2004

I recently purchased an HP Envy Laptop and it came installed with V. 1903 Build 18362.778, install date 03/17/20.

EDGE version is 84.0.522.44.

I have Windows Updates paused thru 02/08/21.

My Laptop & Windows & Applications are working just fine.

I create manual Restore Points on C drive & create USB Recovery Drives on a frequent schedule.

How long can I safely stay on V. 1903?

With the seemingly constant news of issues with V. 2004, how safe or stable is it to upgrade to V. 2004 as of July 28, 2020?
