    How do I upgrade my Win 7 computer on July 29?


    Yes I'm a Windows Insider and should get the release version of Win 10 on the 29th based on my usual fast "flight" fairly quickly for my Win 10 preview installation. Based on my email address will that give me a reasonably early download of Win 10 on my Win 7 computer? If not can I use the Install.esd to make a release version iso for my Win 7 computer?

    Can I select the hard disk drive letter/ partition that Windows 10 upgrade will install in and dual run.

    Will I have the option of choose a different drive or partition where I want the upgrade installed?

    hi Yes that is what i mentioned further up on my post, i just chose NOT to. Hurry up I C that windows 10 free upgrade will expire July 29th 2016, some computers here running win 7 and win 8 R getting pop up to upgrade FREE to win 10 but it will expire July
    29 so act NOW. I hope this helps.

    I'm running Windows 10 preview on another computer. I generally get the next version update within 24 hours of when it is released.
