Windows 10: How do I use the pics I saved in a folder for my desktop background in Windows !!?

I saved pics in a folder for my desktop and windows 11 will not let me access them. It shows the folder as empty. Also, not knowing it wouldn't show my pics I moved that folder to the personalize desktop section and now I can't even get the default pics back. Anyone...?

This issue may arise when you had choose picture from other folder to display in slideshow.

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

  Right click from desktop and select Personalize.

  Click on background.
  
• 
  On the right side, you will be able to see Background option.

  Expand it and select Slideshow.
  
• 
  Check whether you had added any Folders to the slide show under “Choose albums for your slideshow”.

  If you have added any folder you can remove the folder by clicking the folder.

How to download pictures from web and make it as a desktop background in windows 10

Hi,

You can download files from web using Internet Explorer. To help you in downloading photos in Internet Explorer, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Open a new tab in Internet Explorer. Go to a site where you want to pick an image.
• Right-click on the image that you want to download.
• Click on Save picture as....
• Choose a folder where you want to save the image.
• Rename the file if you want to. Click on Save.

For changing your desktop background, kindly refer to this article:
Change desktop background and colors. Once that you click the Browse
button, a new window will popup and prompt you to select a file folder. Find the file folder where you saved the image that you've downloaded.

Slideshow as desktop background.
