Windows 10: How do I use the shuffle feature in media play?

The shuffle feature in media play isn't working. How is it turned on?

Can I Shuffle a "Now Playing list" on the Phone?

I have a WP7 / Samsung focus / With NoDo /

I like creating a "Temp" Playlist on the fly when I'm out and about by picking a few differient artists or albums or songs and "add to now Playing list" and shuffle between what I just picked.

Basically (with zune on the phone) If i scroll through the media, push and hold for the sub menu, then select "add to now playing" option. It will add those selections to the list. However- Zune will only play straight through the selections. There is no "shuffle
list" option as an option....

Is there a way to shuffle this Now Playing list?

If you mean Shuffle in Windows media player then it changes a list of tracks from playing in the order they appear to playing in a random order.

Since Windows 10 has Windows media player version 12, you can try the below steps and check if it helps.

Possibly shuffle feature is turned on in Windows Media Player. To fix this issue, turn off the shuffle feature.

Step 1: Disable shuffle feature

1. Open Windows Media Player.

2. Press Alt key on the keyboard to see the menu items.

3. Click the Play menu item and click Shuffle to uncheck it.

4. Restart the player and check the difference.
