Windows 10: How do I "verify" sufficient privileges?

I have a new Lenovo computer with Windows 10 on it and I am not at all familiar with how to use that operating system. I've been trying to load one of my old programs from my Windows 7 computer that is supposed to be compatible with Windows 10 but I'm having a problem. Every time I try to load it it goes just so far and then I get this error message:Error 1920.Service ProtexistLicensingProtexist Licensing failed to start. Verify that youhave sufficient privileges to start system services.I have absolutely no idea what this is talking about or how to do it so can someone out there please

Hello all, I am encountering the following issue when trying to install XTU, "verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services".

I am trying to install on a newly purchased Asus ROG G751JT running Win 8.1. Please see the screenshot for details.



I have tried everything I know over the past 24 hours but to no avail and your help would be much appreciated.

Did you try the one from intel as well?

You do not have sufficient privileges to install the program. Log on again with administrator privileges.

When installing MF237w canon printer on win10 x64 the following msg apprears

You do not have sufficient privileges to install the program.

Log on again with administrator privileges.

I already run the laptop as admin. Thanks to advise
