Windows 10: How do I write a file to the microsd card?

I just bought a new microSD card and placed it into my laptop. How do I write a file to the microSD card?

Write protected MicroSD card

After upgrading my 640 XL to Mobile 10 10586.218 from the previous Build, my MicroSD card seemed to become locked and/or write protected.

I noticed this, when apps weren't updating properly in the Windows store after the OS upgrade, backed up the files on my card to my computer, and have tried to format numerous times in my phone, only for it to time out, essentially not do anything.

I removed the card, placed it in a USB MicroSD card reader (came with my Lexar 128GB Card), and have tried using diskpart to remove the write protection, even though it states its successful, but when I try to delete the partition on the card, or try to
format it, it gives a read only error.

Also tried using MicroSD to SD converter, with the write protect switch off.

Any thing can be read from the card, but nothing will write, any suggestions on formatting or deleting the partition on the MicroSD card?

 

Can´t format, write nor delete files on a corrupted microSD card

I have a SandDisk Ultra PLUS 16 GB microSD card
(This exact model)
and I'm trying to format it without any luck so far.
It's the microSD card that I've using in my Android phone for 3 years without much trouble.

It currently has 7 GB aprox. of photos and music. I have all backed up so I don't mind destroying all the data. I plug it im my Windows 10 PC with an microSD-to-USB adapter. Haven't tried a microSD-to-SD adapter yet

I can't:

• Format the card
  
• Paste a file on it ==> "error 0x800703ee: The volume for a file has been externally altered so that the opened file is no longer valid"
  
• Deleting a file while being plugged with USB cable and phone ==> "Device is write protected"
  

I've tried:

• Right click on the drive (F and formatting to FAT32 ==> Windows was unable to complete the format.
  
• Idem but with NTFS.
  
• Formatting from the phone ==> It says format complete but nothing has been deleted.
  
• Using EaseUS Partition Master ==> Can´t format nor wipe data, error pops up.
  
• Using Mini Tool ==> Idem.
  
• From cmd.exe running as Admin:
  
  • Using chkdsk and then /f f: ==> "The type of file system is RAW. Chkdsk is not available for RAW drives" despite having the FAT32 label in it's properties.
    
  • Using disk part, attributes disk clear readonly (to remove write protection) and then clear ==> "data error (cyclic redundancy check)"
    
• Using "FolderMount" app on my phone with ROOT privileges to solve both start-up detected problems as explained in [this video][2]

I don't know what else to try. I would probably have to buy another one but those things are not cheap here where I live and this case is really blowing my mind.

Music Sync with microsd card

I am having all kinds of problems using my microsd card to sync music. I have a Lumia 822. I can sync music to my phone without issue. But, if I try to sync music to my microsd card, I get duplicate listings of songs. And, every time I try to re-sync,
the song is listed again. This doesn't happen for every song, but for many. I have tried two different microsd cards - one is 32g and the other 64. Same problem for both. Any suggestions?
