    How do Iskip the Microsoft password login screen and go instantly to the desktop?


    I upgraded to 23H2 yesterday, and now when I start up my laptop, it requires me to enter my Microsoft password. I don't want that — I just want to disable it and go instantly to the desktop, like in the old 21H2 version

    • Which screen are you referring to?
    • Are you able to login to Desktop?
    • Are you able to see the login screen?


    The power icon referred in the steps is present at the login screen. If you are able to see the login screen where you enter the password to go to Desktop, then you need to follow those steps. These steps to be followed if you are able to reach to
    login screen but unable to go to Desktop.



    Please provide us more information related to the issue so that we can assist you further.

    Password issue

    After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???
