Windows 10: How do obtain current IP address for my PC

What is the best way to obtain my PC IP address (OS Windows 10)?

IPconfig /all doesn't seem to be right?

Configure the network device to automatically obtain an IP address

Our router blocks internet access to a Windows Mobile 7.8 smart phone. The phone gets assigned new IP adresses, thus getting the router to believe it is trying to evade parental control. The router's manufacturer suggest configuring the network device
to automatically obtain an IP address. How can I do this on this phone?

 

Saving (or finding) current IP address on cloud . . .

When using Remote Desktop, I have to deal with the fact that my ISP assigns my cable modem a dynamic IP address.

What seems to me to be a good solution to finding my current IP address is to have my home computer periodically check my address, and if it has changed, store it in an onging list on One Drive. I will gain the advantage of having a record of what time it
last changed. And, I would be able to login to my One Drive account from anywhere and be able to obtain my home computers current IP address.

Now, this seems all too obvious to me, so I have to wonder if Microsoft has already stored this information on the cloud. I'm wondering if this is already a feature of Windows 10.

What I'm trying to do is connect to my home computer using Microsoft RD on Android.

Who can tell me if my hunch is correct? What is *the Microsoft way* for dealing with dynamic IP addresses and Microsoft RD?

You might need your computer's IP address if you want to set up an Internet connection, allow other people to connect to your PC, or need to troubleshoot network problems. Kindly follow these steps to find the IP address of your computer:

• Select the Start button , start typing View network connections, and then select it in the list.
• Select an active network connection, and then, in the toolbar, select
  View status of this connection. (You might need to select the chevron icon to find this command.)
• Select Details. (Your PC's IP address appears in the
  Value column, next to IPv4 Address).
