Windows 10: How do you connect to someone elses PC if we do noy use User/password logins?

I am trying to access. a local PC on my own network. When I click on the network, I get the following.My question is; since I use a PIN instead of a username password, what credentials do I use? ANd how do I find the credentials that I did use before using the PIN?Thanks in advance.

No login password craziness

Brink, that was the missing step. What threw me off was in netplwiz, where it asks about password for my MS account, the user name was not the same as my MS account name. Once I entered the password (twice) I can now login without entering a password. In fact the name that was listed was not the MS account name, but a folder name. The folder is the one that shows when you click on C:\Users.

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

To assist you better, I would like to know whether the accounts are local account or Microsoft account. Are you trying to remove the login password?

If you are trying to remove the login password, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Press windows key + R to open command prompt, and type "netplwiz"
• Uncheck "user must enter user name and password to use this computer", then click "ok"
• Enter your user name and password, then click "ok"
• Restart your computer.

I would like to inform you that it is recommended to activate the password for security reasons.
