Windows 10: How do you customise accent shortcuts in Windows 11?

On all previous versions of Windows I've used, my keyboard has been set to ENG UK and I've been able to get accents the same way. Since getting a laptop with Windows 11, some of the shortcuts have changed:Ctrl + ' prints a grave ` when it used to print an acute ´;Ctrl + # prints an acute when it used to print a tilde ~;The only way I've found to get back to the accent shortcuts I'm used to is by setting my keyboard to ENG INTL. Unfortunately, this means that:Shift + 2 prints the at sign @ instead of quotation marks ";Shift + ' prints quotation marks instead of the at sign.Is there a

Windows Accents Shortcuts Not Working

I just installed windows on my pc, and the keyboard shortcuts for accent such as a grave accent or a circumflex are not working on my keyboard. I press CTRL+` which should type the accent, but
types nothing. Has anyone else dealt with this? I've tried changing languages from English, going into keyboard settings, but nothing seems to be working. Any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

• Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
• Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
• Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
• Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.

 

Customisability

This topic has been in my mind for quite some time for now. It feels like whenever there's any problem with technology, it's always because the users can't customise their devices and because they aren't given options. And if a customer has to Google how
to customise something, it's not honestly an option you are giving to them. Things in Windows 10 to fix:

• You should be able to use UI from any version of Windows since Windows 1.0.
• Instead of choosing from 48 possible accent colours we should have a colour wheel.
• You can change your screen's contrast, gamma, tone and saturation. Great job there. Now how about voice? Volume and balance. Is this a joke?
• Screen brightness options in Windows 10: 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. First of all, I expect my screen to be black when the brightness is set to zero. Why would the user want to have a screen (s)he can't use? I don't know, but it's their computer, they have
  to be able to do that if they want to. Second, it would be nice if I could set it to be any natural number.
