How to disable the swipe left from edge of screen gesture?

Very late to the party here, but just found the answer - I can't believe that the MS tech (if that's what he is) didn't know this very simple answer. Follow link - scroll towards the bottom and it will show you the steps to solve this by editing the Group
Policy. I can confirm that this works on the Surface Pro 3 (it's a Win 10 setting).

  I want to DISABLE, the right/left edge-swipe (technical jargon, unknown to me).
  
  I use my OneNote-2016 all the time for taking notes and so I am writing on the screen as the SurfacePro4 is made to do. All the time my arm is swiping the left or right edge and these swiping gestures keep opening up and destroying my productivity.

Please give us a way to disable these gestures. Can Microsoft provide a solution through a hotfix, update, or registry edit?

I found a solution to this on Windows 10 (14393.576) for Surface 4.

• Edit Group Policy,
• Go to Edge UI
• set "allow edge swipe" to "Disabled"
• restart
