I was on the Cerebro Mutant Tracker featurette of the X-Men: First Class Blur-Ray. When I clicked "more mutant profiles", a network connection error appeared on the screen. It said "This feature requires access to a broadband internet connection. Your Blu-Ray player is currently set to prohibit connections to the internet. Please Consult your Blu-Ray player manual or player support website for more information on enabling your Blu-Ray player to connect to the internet. I do not know how to enable the Blu Ray player to connect to the internet.

Did you get any error message when trying to use Blu-ray disc? Have you tried running your PC on a safe mode? Furthermore, it would be best that you contact your manufacturer for any recommendation of Blu-ray drives. This is to make sure that the Blu-ray
drives will be compatible with your device.

Cannot play blu-ray discs

To further isolate the issue, kindly clarify the following:

• What is the make and model of your BD-ROM optical drive?
• Are you able to play Blu-ray movies before with no issues?
• Did you install any codecs and plugins?

 

Blu-ray support?

If the computer has a Blu-Ray optical drive it makes perfect sense that it would support Blu-Ray playback. To not have it is just plain retarded. For Windows OS to not support it is just plain lazy. Sony pays Microsoft for their OS but Microsoft refuses
to pay Sony for the Blu-Ray licensing. Poor business strategy, and the reason more and more people are using alternate OS.
